Notes for Mary PRITCHARD
Records indicate that members of the Pritchard and Irwin families lived in the townland of Briskinagh, (Al'briskinagh), Monaghan County, Ireland. After marriage, to get money for Joseph's passage to Canada, they sold their cow, a present from Mary's parents. In 1851 census, at Masham, Quebec, 8 children remain at home from Foster to Roseanne. At the cemetary there is a large stone marked "Irwin" but no markers. | HOME | SURNAMES |
